Zoya Sunshine Collection

Can you guys believe summer is more than halfway over? I certainly can't. Regrettably, I didn't post the Zoya Sunshine Collection earlier in the season, but pretty polish is appropriate for any time of the year, right? You may remember the first part of the Zoya summer collection, Zoya Summertime. If not, take a look at them--six pretty cremes in bold, bright colors.

But right now, we're talking about Sunshine! Six metallic-y foils in sweet, juicy hues. The formula was lovely. Each polish required only two coats and dried quickly to a smooth finish. These babies are sparkly, my friends!

Let's get the ball rolling with Apple! Remember how much flack Gwyneth Paltrow caught for naming her daughter Apple? And yet no one really batted an eye when she named her son Moses? Anyway, Apple (the polish) is a soft, light grass green with gold and yellow shimmer. It reminds me of an icy margarita! Or Nicole by OPI Make Mine Lime, but greener and more opaque and sparkly. I loved this one!

Tanzy is a fiery orange with red undertones with gold shimmer throughout. Orange isn't really my thing, but I didn't mind this one, as it didn't clash with my skin tone.

Faye is a browned mauve-purple with gold sparkle. Although I didn't love the color personally, it is certainly unique and beautiful. It reminds me of Princess Leia's bikini in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Come on, you know the one I mean!

Reva is a sweet berry hue with gold sparkle. It was hard for my camera to capture, but the gold really pops in this one and makes for a quite a fun version of what would otherwise be a run-of-the-mill pink-red.

I couldn't help but fall in love with Kimmy. It's a cherry red that just looks fabulous against the gold. It reminds me of one of my all time favorite polishes, BB Couture Sex on the Beach, but with more foil and gold speckles. And man, just how many times am I going to use the word gold in this post?!

Do you guys remember my desperate search for the oh-so-perfect-looking Chanel polish I saw in a Seventeen magazine about six years ago? (It turns out I was thinking of Chanel Cry Baby, which apparently looks fabulous in the bottle but is super sheer on the nail. I was slightly crushed.) Well, Zoya must have been tapping into my brainwaves, because they cranked out what has to be one of the most sensational polishes I've seen to date. I mean, seriously guys, I am in lurve with this damn polish! I have worn it dozens of times already, and I never get tired of it!
Rica is a beyootiful light pink coral with gold (there's that word again! Last time, I swear!) sparkles. It is definitely coral but leans pink, rather than red. It's soft and sweet but sparkly at the same time. J'adore!
Check out these pictures and then pictures of Chanel Cry Baby and see if they measure up (PS: I think they do!)

So there you have it, dudes and dudettes! I'm diggin' this collection, what about you? Did you pick any up?
