Hidy ho, my friends. Today we have the Zoya Summertime Collection, which consists of six creme polishes. Before we begin with the swatches, let me say that the formula on these? Terrific. Seriously, it was great. Each polish needed two coats to be smooth and opaque and they dried quite shiny.
It was weird, though. For three out of the six polishes I had issues with the brushes. On one, the bristles were way too short, and on two more they were bent and growing out of the brush all weird. But maybe I just got a funky batch.
Also, I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I love that Zoya polishes are named after women's names. Love that.
I feel like I don't have a lot to say about these polishes, and I guess it's because...they're so run-of-the-mill. The formula is superb, so if you need a nice purple or red, pick these up. Also, these don't scream "summer" to me.
And I'll never understand why companies put out two polishes that are so similar in the same collection (OPI does this a lot, I feel.) Areej and Kieko are quite similar, as are Tamsen and Sooki.
I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm just not in love with this collection. The formula? Yes. But that's about it. Are there any that you're loving? Which ones are you picking up?
