My Blog Policy (Response to the recent issues)

Sadly, there have been a slew of issues plaguing the blogging community as of late. Picture stealing, idea stealing, people even stealing entire blogs! And there's a word for that. Theft. Plagiarism. And just plain lack of common decency. You're not going to get away with it, not for long. Not with the guys and gals within the community, anyway. It's a tight-knit group and we stand up for each other.

Fortunately, I haven't experienced any of these issues firsthand, but I figured that now would be a good time to list what I guess now is my official policy for Aurora's Nails. This is subject to change at any time.

I used to watermark my pictures, but it takes a while and it can take away from the actual image or make it hard to see, so I have stopped. If you would like to use my pictures, please credit them to me. It would be even nicer to ask me first before using them. Chances are, I'll say yes. Now, I understand that what I put on the internet is basically free game, but I would very much appreciate credit for my work. Taking my words or images and passing them off as your own is wrong, and it could get you into serious trouble.

Thank you for reading; if anything changes, I'll make the necessary edits. And, please, please, be nice out there in cyberspace. Some of my friends have been hurt in this recent chain of events, and it's just not right.

  1. Sorry you had to deal with crap like that :( I've been hearing about this a bit here and there and it's just dumb... Don't steal people's stuff, come on. It's simple.
