Orly Bloom Comparisons

Okay, since I got the Orly Bloom Collection polishes this morning I've been wanting to swatch them against other polishes I have to see how they measure up, color-wise.

First, we have Orly Gumdrop, China Glaze For Audrey, and Essie Mint Candy Apple. In the bottle they look pretty alike. Actually, Mint Candy Apple is kind of out of place, but I put it in here anyway.

On the nails...
From left to right, Mint Candy Apple, Gumdrop, and For Audrey. Click the picture to better see the difference. For Audrey is slightly darker than Gumdrop, but not by much. It also seems to be a tad more blue.

Then we have Snowcone and China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le.
Nice shot of my stuffed Easter bunny in the corner.
Left is Snowcone and right is Secret Peri-wink-le. Snowcone is more blue, while Secret Peri-wink-le is a cooler purple.

Finally, Pixy Stix and Essie Cute as a Button. I'm not sure why I thought they would be so similar, because looking at them both now, they are not dupes.
Cute as a Button is darker, while Pixy Stix seems softer.
Pixy Stix on the left and Cute as a Button on the right.

So two out of three ain't bad...only Gumdrop appears to have a dupe. Only nail freaks like us would be able to tell the difference. Haha!

  1. I love the Orly Sweet collection. I have Snowcone and Gumdrop, and I love them, however, I think Gumdrop and FA are different enough it justifies having both. I personally prefer gumdrop though, because it dries so glossy and gorgeous
